The summer holiday is traditionally a peak season for travel and consumer spending, during which financial institutions intensify their credit card promotions. According to admanGo’s Credit Cards & Charge Cards Adspend Report (Jun – Aug 2024), the adspend for credit cards & charge cards in Hong Kong reached 181 million. Mobile emerged as the top advertising platform, capturing 41% of the market share, while Facebook dominated social media with a 74% share. Hang Seng Bank ranked as the top advertiser in this category during this period. The report also included market share of various media, the top 10 Advertisers, as well as detailed information on Social Media advertising information.
